This property is new to the guest market, so we hope that further improvements will continue to be made. The building is extremely nice, well maintained and quiet. There is a friendly mix of property owners and renters. The location is terrific, and we felt like we were living in a postcard! The salt water pool is perfect and location is convenient to the beach and, restaurants, etc. Our concern was with two key areas: the unit was new and staged to look beautiful, but had not yet been lived in to consider practical needs and furnishings. The property managers were responsive to the best of their ability, but it seemed the owner was not interested in making further investment in furnishings and improvements. The unit is sold as three bedroom, but there is outside security lighting by the elevator and this unit that is extremely bright all night. The blinds provided in those rooms were stuck in the closed position and facing the wrong way, allowing light into one of the guest rooms especially. We urged them to add some room darkening drapes and worked to engineer solutions ourselves, including flipping the shade slats by hand ourselves. Hopefully, the owner will see to finding more permanent solutions to make all three rooms more accommodating to guests. We requestied more kitchen supplies, utensils and the cookware was old and greasy. We found the kitchen sink also soiled and greasy and less than thoroughly cleaned on arrival, which we reported to management and dealt with ourselves. We were expected to buy our own toilet paper and supplies, unlike any other properties we have rented before, which seemed to further emphasize a lack of investment regardless of the cost of this Level of property. It is a very high quality residence, and we would recommend this building to others, but hope this new owner/ renter gets more up to speed on how to service and furnish a unit and provide a level of hospitality and comfort that is congruent with this level of rental.

Please note: The two reviews above are from the same couple that stayed in the condo. The husband wrote one and the wife wrote the other. Dolphin Key is a beautiful newer condominium with a great waterfront location and easy access to the beach. On a daily basis we tried to accommodate every request made. Some requests were very reasonable and it was a pleasure to take care of the guests needs, however request were not things we could correct for the guest. We are not aware of other managers or owners that supply toilet paper or other supplies for monthly rentals. We provide the start up for such things as paper towels, toilet paper, soap and laundry detergent. Once the start up runs out, it is the guest responsibility to purchase these items for the balance of their stay. We did very much appreciate the way the guest took care of the property during their stay and very sorry we did not meet all of their expectations. The Seaside Property Shoppe

Beautiful location with daily sunrise over the intracoastal. White-sand beach an easy walk across the street. Huge deck with plenty of shade, saltwater pool and hot tub complete the experience.
