Madeira Norte #212

We loved the condo. Clean and well maintained. The furnishings were really nice. Especially liked the balcony furniture. We love the location being right across from John’s Pass. Have stayed at Mad beach for over 20 years. So sad that Helene cut our vacation short but pray that everyone was okay and Mad beach will recover and we will be back next year. And the staff was great.

The condo was excellent. Well stocked with all the necessities. The furniture was all in good shape. The patio furniture was perfect. Very clean when we arrived for our 1 week stay. Our third stay at Madeira Norte and pleased to see upgraded elevators and a fresh coat of paint on the building. Well maintained on the outside with daily cleaning of the Pool area and grounds.

We had a great time in our condo. The condo had lots of extras that were nice, beach chairs, towels, kitchen gadgets. The condo is showing lots of wear and tear and could use some up grading and a facelift. Otherwise location was good and when we had a bunch of rowdy teens on beach their was a security guard present a few nights.

The property was just as described. Very clean. Great views from all rooms. Right across the street from Johns Pass, which has lots of restaurants and shops.

Location and view were fantastic. The unit's over all appearance was good however after our walk through it was obvious that the bathroom needed better detailing (shower mold) and the general small maintenance (missing light bulbs, broken switch plates and outside lounge chairs) were in need of some TLS.
Management Staff was outstanding to work with. They make checking in and out very easy and were there for all my questions. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to future visits.

The construction above us was very loud each day, The smell of paint made impossible to remain in the condo each day.

Beautiful view, however elevators were out 1 part stay the other full stay. Master shower would not drain. Floors were filthy and ants all over the kitchen counters and cabinets. Unit was nice

Had a wonderful stay in Unit 212 at Maderia Norte. Unit was everything as advertised and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants located at John’s Pass. Would definitely stay here again on next trip to beautiful Maderia Beach. The only downside to this location was an elevator being out of service for our last two day of our stay. A small inconvenience and did not damper our overall stay!

Overall a great vacation. Had a couple issues with the condo which one was corrected. Sharon was very responsive and the booking process was clear with ample information about our stay I would rent the same condo again. Great view!

You cannot beat the view from this porch! It’s also great to have laundry right in the condo and the location of Madeira Norte is perfect. We were quite unhappy with the cleanliness of this unit however. The cabinet doors were dirty, there were food splatters on some of the walls and I ended up spending a morning cleaning. We were offered a second cleaning but turned it down since it would have interfered with our vacation. We did receive a cleaning credit.

We had a great Spring Break at Madeira Norte!! Condo was roomy and fully equipped with everything you would need for the week. LOCATION is wonderful, directly across from John’s Pass, walking distance to shopping, restaurants and drinks!!! Would definitely stay here again!!

We were very happy with the condo it is well supplied with everything you need spacious and view and balcony were our favorite part..Baths little outdated but were fine.We would come back but already rented for our time period next yr.Thanks to Sharon and Seashoppe .

Condo was perfect. Clean, well stocked, exactly as advertised. Amazing view, right on the gulf. Pool is small for an 80 unit complex and gets crowded. But that’s not really a detracted from a great experience. Had a couple minor issues with working the new tv, easily solved with a phone call to Seaside. Rental company’s support (Taylor), was great.

Great condo right on the beach!! Beautiful views!
My only complaint would be the keys you had to use for pool,beach,elevator and stairs. It made it a little difficult to separate and get around.

This was our 2nd time staying in this condo. When I say it has everything you need for the week, I literally mean EVERYTHING you need.... beach towels, toys, cooler, chairs. You name it.. just bring your swimsuit and some groceries!

The place was fantastic, and right across the road from John's pass! We didn't have to worry about driving anywhere all week which made it nice! The condo was big enough for my family of 4 and we had a blast! We will definitely be back!!

Great beach access and beautiful gulf views. Unit was perfect for 2 to 4 people. Nice balcony furniture.

Perfect location! Easy to get there from Tampa Airport. Great view and awesome sunsets from balcony! Loved that could walk across street for shopping and dining!
Condo was very nice....mattress and pillows could be replaced. In twin bedroom there were ants in window bed and a sock was found in sheets of other bed.Floor needed to be cleaned better.
Over all had a great week!

We have returned to this property several times - love the location near John's Pass the beach,pool, and sunsets! Unit well appointed and very clean! This year it was a bit disappointing as maintenance was being done on the building, which kept us from using the balcony.

Balcony is perfect, weather was good.

I felt the place was in a great location. I do think updates are very much needed and place could needed to be cleaner. The place was dusty and floors and tubs were dirty.

Unit 212 was great! Balcony faced the beach (not a side view) and came with a primo parking spot next to the elevator. Furnishings were nice and I slept well here. Enjoyed the small bar height table and 2 chairs on the balcony. Walkable to numerous restaurants and shops. Only wish is that the living area had more lighting. Well ,normally I would always give good reviews, but now I feel I must suggest some things to whom ever the owner is of this unit. Absolutely love the location, have friends and family in the area and felt so lucky to find this place. First of all, the palm tree in the living room area is just a mistake..maybe an overhanging/ standing light of some sort would be a better choice. It Stinks and is full of dust. This is our second season here and just noticed some things that needed to be addressed Last year there was a bulb out in the master bath light..ha, the same one is still out. The Lamp in the master by the sliding window is a joke.. some time it grips and turns off or to the next level or just keeps turning with no movement or light, ok..I will just unplug it to turn it off..Really? The mattress is absolutely worn out..like an old water bed without the water..the pillows are GROSS, the sign says" do not remove the pillow cases for your comfort and safety"..OMG I would have thrown them out years ago>NOT ONLY do they not Have covers they do not even give you extra cases to protect yourself from someone else's "whatever" on the gross brown stained mess on them"Whom ever cleans for them should be fired.. I used to be a maid at a resort in my younger years and if we left things like they do we would have been fired. Sooo sorry to comment as such, but if it was not for the location and the closeness to our family, we will certainly try and find someplace else that is worth the money.Sorry to be so honest, but two times and no improvements is rediculous. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

We had rented this unit several times from the previous owner and although it is starting to show some wear we jumped at the chance to rent it again when we found it available. The location is excellent.

Love the place. Location is great. Will try to book there again. The. Property management people are awesome.

We were very happy with condo #212. Great view, nice furniture and ammenities. We would highly recommend this condo.

We have been coming back to Madeira Beach for many years and always rented the same condo. We love how clean the condo is and how it has everything you would ever need while you are on vacation. The location is perfect for an evening walk to the boardwalk to grab ice cream and watch for dolphins. Every morning we would watch for the dolphins swimming out and even some manatees. Can't wait to go back next year!

We totally enjoyed our stay! Great location, comfortable condo with all the comforts of home! Enjoyed the amazing sunsets from the balcony and walked many, many miles on the beach! Very friendly atmosphere and across the street from John's Pass is a bonus! We hope to return next January!

We come back every year to this beautiful condo. It has everything you need and more. The views are breathtaking. Walking distance to everything!!! Management is easy to get ahold of and very friendly.

Welcome to Paradise. Wonderful Ocean Front condo right on the beach with everything you could want right there. If we weren't on the beach we were on the veranda relaxing. master bed was sooo comfortable. Walk to restaurants and shopping who could ask for more!

We have rented many condos in Madeira Beach over the past 25 years and this condo was the most relaxing place to unwind we have found. View can not be beaten. Comfortable patio furniture put it above all the rest. We had our morning coffee outside and spent most evenings watching the sunset. Great communication with the property management as well.

We had an excellent week in this unit. We've stayed before and just love everything about it. Many lazy mornings on the balcony with our coffee and breakfast, watching the dolphins. The beach is just lovely and a dip in the pool is perfect after a long day at the beach. We love being just across the street from John's Pass too. We will definitely be back soon!

20+ late winter Gulf Coast vacations, 19 to Longboat Key, also Naples, Bonita Springs, Sanibel. Mad Beach in general, and this condo specifically, are now right up there with our faves in LBK - after just one stay. In 2 wks, we didn't get to try all the restaurants we wanted to or visit all the places we had planned. Would be going back next year if that same unit was available mid March; but we do have it reserved for 2020. 'Nuff said? Faves: beach, John's Pass, Dali Museum (St Pete), Mazzaro's Italian Mkt, Restaurants: Guppy's, Mad Beach Brewery, Boardwalk Grill (best lobster rolls this side of Maine), PJ's Oyster Bar, Crabby Bill's. Sharon at Seaside was a delight to work with, from our 1st contact throughout our stay. Mad Norte is very well maintained and beautifully located directly across from John's Pass, which people travel to from all over Tampa-St Pete area. Unit 212 very well furnished, incl gourmet kitchen equipment. Could easily lose the fake palm tree in the living room, though, and substitute a real coffee table for the "convertible" ottoman/tray table. Looking fwd to our return visit.

The condo was comfortable, well appointed and the common areas of the building were kept very clean. Loved watching the sunset or reading sitting on the comfortable chairs on the balcony, while a walk on the beach was only a few steps away. Restaurants and shops across the street. A great find!

What an awesome condo! From the moment we entered the condo it was clean and smelled freshly mopped.This condo has everything you need. Plenty of beach chairs and beach extras in the closet.There was salt, pepper, cooking oils, all the extras you need but never expect to find in a rental. The balcony is huge with super comfortable furniture.The pool was warm and the grounds were kept clean. The master bedroom bed was so inviting with plenty of pillows. The best part is the location. It is truly across the street from John's Pass. My twenty something kids went there everyday. Whether shopping, getting something to eat, or just to grab an ice cream cone it is all right there. Don't hesitate to book this condo, you won't be disappointed.

The property is in a great location, directly on the beach and also close to local amenities.
Instructions from the rental agency were good and access was easy.
The condo itself is comfortably furnished and has all the necessary equipment for a problem free stay.
During the week before Xmas the Madeira Beach area was relatively quiet so restaurants etc. were available easily, and there is a good supply of different cuisines so that many options were available. After Xmas the area was much busier (families with children) so not quite as convenient.
It had been 25yrs+ since last vacation in Madeira Beach and the area has certainly grown and developed, but it is an enjoyable area and given the condo location and facilities, I would not hesitate to recommend that others take advantage of what is on offer.

We've stayed at this property two years in a row and looking forward to our third year in 2018. This is truly the best location we've experienced and this corner unit is spacious and very well maintained.

We have been coming here for 5 years now and we have never been disappointed. The condo itself is immaculate, thoroughly updated and comfy for our family of four. You cannot beat the location. The deck looks directly at the gulf and there is a protected area next door so you have unobstructed views south down the whole coastline. John's pass is literally across the street for shopping and restaurants. You are steps from the beach and pool. Even the parking spot and elevator are convenient for unloading. The owners are clear in their instructions for check in and the use of the amenities and very attentive to our needs. If you picture the perfect beach condo, this place would be it.

Our family vacation was wonderful! We stayed in 212 and 211. Both condos were perfect for our large family. The beachfront view was awesome, and location to John's Pass was great. The beds were comfy. I ordered the pillows for myself when I got back to Texas. Beautiful furnishings. Sharon was very welcoming and helpful. We'll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was fantastic, the furnishings were brand new and stylish, and it had most amenities that we needed. My only suggestions are fairly minor, and are listed below. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend to friends.

- Shower curtain in master bath was covered in mold
- Sink in master bath had a very steady drip/stream. You had to mess with the handle to minimize the amount of water that was always running
- No laundry soap to be found in the condo even though we were requested to clean towels before leaving.
- Flashlight is missing from condo. Should be in kitchen pantry/closet.

We really enjoyed room #212. It was a beautiful place and really clean. The views were absolutely beautiful along with the beach. We would definitely stay in that room again. Loved all of the furniture. Very comfortable recliners in the living room and master bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Great vacation rental!!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family! We have two girls 8 and 4 and they each had their own bed which was perfect! Waking up to the sounds of the ocean and watching the sunset every night was wonderful! Everything is conveniently located to John's pass and The Bamboo beach bar and grill which is our favorite for the live bands and food! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! We will be back!

Beautiful location. We rented a car, but with all the restaurants and entertainment you need just a short walk away a car was not necessary. Condo always very clean and had everything you need to feel right at home. The comfortable patio furniture was great to sit back on and enjoy the Dolphins and fabulous view. Already planning our next visit ??

This condo has a great location with amazing views of the ocean. It's so close to the beach and just right across the street from Johns Pass. They had everything we needed in the kitchen to make our own meals and they also have a beach closet full of everything you'll want for the beach. We'll definitely be staying here again.

This location is the pick of Madeira Beach, but the coach and bed we're horribly uncomfortable leading to an experience of painful back spasms. The location is across the street from Johns Pass which translates to heavy, noisy traffic and lots of public beach access. This condo is run like a fortress and is populated by a squad of seniors that are up in each other's business and will manipulate you out of your pool chair if it is in their pool territory. The small pool is lovely, clean, and heated. Kitchen is very well appointed compared to others I have experienced. The unit was spotless and freshly painted, but the furniture quite uncomfortable. An exception was the terrace patio furniture, Kmart cheap, but cushioned. It did not recline. The (new) property management company communicates in a cold corporate way, a real jolt after warm interactions with a he previous owner. Generally, the back pain and crowds weren't worth it. Will not return.

This is our third year staying here at this beautiful, spotless condo! We love the location across from John's Pass and love the view from the balcony! We have gotten very comfortable with Madeira Beach with the many great restaurants and golf courses that we enjoy! The Seaside Shoppe was very good to work with as well and very responsive when we had a question. We hope to return in February!

Very much enjoyed staying here for Christmas vacation. The weather was perfect and the accommodations were as advertised. The beach was lovely and the location across from Johns Pass was very convenient. Everything we could need for a week stay was provided and in working order. The condo was very well maintained. My only suggestion would be to have a few more pillows for sleeping on the beds.

Because this is a corner unit there are extra windows in the two bedrooms. This is a spacious unit and it was very clean and well appointed. Another bonus is the entire complex is extremely well maintained. The location can't be beat. We loved watching all the beach activity and walking over to John's Pass. We were fortunate enough to have wonderful weather and have already booked our stay for next year. We have a timeshare in Cocoa Beach for one week which we are giving up so we can spend that additional week at Madeira Beach. Don't question or hesitate your decision to stay here.
