The Coast is Clear

Outside of the elevator not working, which we knew ahead of time and not the owner’s problem, it is a beautiful condo. Clean, kitchen had everything you would need, furniture comfortable. Washer/dryer in a closet off bedroom filled with beach accessories. Handy to have an insulated bag to use with snacks and drinks. Plenty of beach towels. Overhead fans were nice. Balcony view is fantastic. Parking was easy. Management responded immediately to questions and was super helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Not good. Elevator is and has been broken for weeks I found out . The air conditioning did not work at all. Repair tech checked it out and said parts needed to be ordered so my family would not have a/c the entire time we were there. He told us we should “open the windows” Not a great solution when’s its 85 and humid. So I decided to at least try that. Opened glass sliding door and found that the screen was jammed into the full open position and would not budge an inch. Owner of this condo should fire the property management company (Seaside Property Shoppe). Also when I contacted Taylor from Seaside about a good faith refund for non existent a/c he told me “no refunds or rate adjustments shall be made for mechanical failures.” That may be the “policy”, however I would rather spend my money with a company that has standards that a reputable company would follow and stand by to make things right for their customers.

This was our second time at the Chateaux and first time renting with Seaside. Both were great experiences. Taylor had informed us about the elevator being out of order for our stay. That was the only hindrance we had as we were on the 5th floor. Condo was clean, had enough kitchen supplies for cooking, nice touches with having supplies on hand for dish soap and detergent for the dishwasher and washer and dryer. The view from this condo is breathtaking.

This condo is awesome and has the best oceanfront view. It looks exactly like the pictures. The area around the condo is also nice with a wonderful coffee shop and amazing restaurant (Salt Rock) within 5 min walking distance. The beach is very nice and clean. Hope we will be able to come back to stay again. Book it, it’s worth every penny.

The ease of checking in was such a change of pace. No chasing down the property manager for keys or a parking pass. Everything was just as advertised if not better. Our condo was a very spacious one bedroom that felt much large than it is. We both commented several times during our stay that it felt spacious enough that we could see ourselves living in such a space. Everything was very clean and had beach chairs, towels and toys available. It was a very quiet complex which was so nice. Confidently located to restaurants and grocery stores. We are already looking for dates we can come back!!

Stayed with my daughter, 10 yo grandson and his friend. Location was perfect and condo was fully equipped with everything we needed.

We booked this condo as a base to explore the area and go to a Rays game.
It is in a great location with good amenities and great views of the sunset, The kitchen and living area had been recently refurbished to a very high standard and were well equipped.
We had some problems with the bathroom door but the management company were very helpful and efficient in dealing with that. A bit of an issue checking in with confusion about the door code but again quickly sorted by the management company. Would definitely recommend

Everything was perfect. The condo was spotless, perfect views of the sunrise and sunset—loved the access to the beach. Lovely quiet place. Left some unopened ice cream behind hopefully someone got to enjoy it. Definitely rebooking this place next year

We had THE. BEST. vacation ever. Everything you could need was provided right down to a fan for sleeping. The balcony was perfect for coffee every morning. We saw manatees and dolphins. Plenty chairs & sun at the pool. Beach chairs to rent or some in the unit if you want to pack them. Great places to eat and drink within walking distance.

Cleanest beach condo we've stayed in. Best view of the ocean and also has intracoastal views. Minor issues were resolved within minutes, great communication from Taylor - very attentive. Supplies like toilet paper and garbage bags are slim, but not a deal breaker for what you get with this unit. Unit also seems very spacious and open for 875 sq. feet. Other than could probably use more supplies for a family 4+, no complaints here!

The location was amazing! Perfect view from balcony and front living space. It was great having a washer and dryer in the unit. Only trouble was that it warmed up the bedroom when using the dryer. Everything else was perfect. Plenty of beach chairs and supplies that you don’t need to bring your own. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

Great views and fantastic location let down by the standard of cleanliness. The condo really needs a deeper clean and clearly the owner has not been at the property for sometime. We did notify the rental company who offered to send back a cleaner but as we were staying only 5 nights we basically persevered and cleaned kitchen utensils we were using ourselves. The oven and separate electric grill were not clean so we did not use them and we ate out most of the time. The bathrooom was also an issue with an old shower curtain and dirty toilet brush and holder. Finally as a couple (no family in tow) we were not a fan of the two beds in the bedroom as it means less space to move around and this really is a condo for 2 people only and a king bed would have been better. Would not recommend renting If more that 2 people to be honest we probably should have been more alert about that fact. Shame as the position and view is spot on.

We had a wonderful stay at the Coast is Clear. It was just enough space for a family of four (2 adults, 2 toddlers). The view from the balcony is just beautiful and we enjoyed it every morning and evening! We were pleased to find the unit very clean and well equipped with kitchen gadgets, beach gear and towels. Taylor from Seaside was GREAT and available via text for any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be back!

The location was unbeatable. We absolutely loved the view and sitting on the balcony. The living room and kitchen area was nice and roomy and it was nice having two beds in the bedroom since it was only a one bedroom condo. The pool area was very nice however, it would have been great if the pool was lit up in the evening, a person could swim in it until 10 o’clock at night but it was dark. The bathroom in the condo was not very clean however. Taylor did replace the shower curtain when I told him that it was kind of gross and moldy. Overall we were pleased, and would definitely come back!

Our unit was well equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation. Perfect beach for walking. Beautiful sunsets from our balcony.
Area has many restaurants that are in walking distance. Would recommend this condo!

Overall,"nice" condo, but many disappointments. Key code we were given did not work; could not get into condo at the scheduled time. Property management staff had to come and let us in. Interior and furniture are very "worn." Bed mattresses are WAY too soft and old. Couch and loveseat have a lot of wear and tear. Keurig was disgusting -- not clean, looked to be years old. Supply closet also very dirty. And, bathroom supply was a joke -- ONE roll of toilet paper was supplied. Adirondack chairs on the patio are an odd choice for customer base -- older people who struggle with this type of seat --- knees above your ***. And, could not see over the top rail to view the beach when seated. Location was another negative -- had to drive to get to most restaurants. There is no sidewalk for a mile in either direction -- scary and dangerous to walk on the VERY narrow road with high traffic. One big plus -- unit had washer & dryer; unusual for a one bedroom. I selected this condo after we had to move north this year for our winter getaway. Normally, we go to Fort Myers Beach. I will NOT be back to Indian Shores / Chateaux.

This condo was a great location with a beautiful view of the beach. Very clean and the host was quick to respond with any questions. Washer/dryer in the condo was a great plus! This was our first trip to the area, and will stay again!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Coast is Clear. The condo was spacious, comfortable and very clean. It was well-stocked and even had lots of beach chairs and toys (frisbees, buckets, paddle ball, etc.) to use at the beach. We flew so this was a HUGE perk for us! The view of the gulf was AMAZING, and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony. The location was great- steps from the beach and close to restaurants, putt-putt and shopping. The property management company was very friendly and accommodating. The condo property was clean and very well taken care of- the crew seemed to always be cleaning the walk-ways, vacuuming the elevator, etc. My daughter loved swimming in the pool after spending most of the day at the beach. I would definitely recommend The Coast is Clear and hope to be back again soon!

The communication with rental company was excellant. The accommodation's were clean and comfortable. Our weather was remarkable. We would rent from this company and The coast is clear again.

Perfect rental for a family vacation. Feels right at home with a great with of the gulf. Great access to the boulevard for all shipping and dining. Very clean and had great customer service from renter. Highly recommend!

Great condo on the sand, with a spacious well furnished living room and balcony. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend to a friend.

The condo is well taken care of and clean. Very comfortable setup and the view of the beach is perfect. Rental process was easy and the people I spoke with were very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I spent a week at the condo and really enjoyed our stay. We had great weather, the place was clean and updated. The gulf view is wonderful and we are open to coming back.

This was a great vacation spot. The 5th floor balcony was awesome to see into the gulf and the beach area. There was an elevator and within a minute you were on the beach. Highly recommended.

We spent a few days here while visiting the area and we are so glad we did. The home was centrally located and had everything we needed - not the least of which was amazing views and sunsets. We had an excellent check in and check out experience and enjoyed our time at the beach.
